“Ant-Man”director Peyton Reed is dreaming still of are disposed superheldenproject, a scenario that he was twenty years ago voorschotelende. That writes Premiere. Thanks to the acquisition of Fox by Disney, it seems this project is now finally a possibility.
The 53-year-old director had twenty years back already have a scenario ready for a “Fantastic Four”movie. The plans were however cancelled and instead made Tim Story’s two “Fantastic Four”films for 20th Century Fox. Reed still hopes his own version, and with the possible sale of Fox to Disney, the film rights to the characters might be back at Marvel.
“There are conversations about the Fantastic Four,” said Reed. “Whether or not with Marvel. Currently, however, it is not clear whether the merger goes through, so I don’t know what’s going to happen. First the film was there, then not, then again,… I can only dream about. We’ll see. The time will tell.”
Reed made headlines with Marvel Studios’ “Ant-Man” and hopes the trick will soon have to agree on to do with the sequel, “Ant-Man and the Wasp”. The second movie comes out on July 18, and it would be the predictions to do better at the box-office than the first.
