1B-club Roeselare has Monday the transfer of the Dutchman Kenny van der Weg announced. The rear is coming press conference from the Scottish first division Hamilton Academical and signed a contract of one season on Schierveld.
The 27-year-old Van der Weg began his career in the Netherlands with NAC Breda (2012-2016). Then followed two adventures in Scotland, Ross County (2016-2018) and Hamilton Academical (2018). The latter club he came from mid-February until eleven official duels.
Van der Weg is the fifth incoming transfer of the West-Flemish people in this zomermercato. Previously pulled Roeselare also all defenders Andrei Camargo (Lierse) and Fazli Kocabas (Wallonia Walhain), midfielder Stijn De Smet (Kortrijk) and attacker Ben Yagan (Dessel Sport).
Roeselare resumed Monday morning training. There were 23 players on the field including Danzell Gravenberch (remains perhaps years longer at Schiervelde) and tester Luis Peralta. Were absent Damman (still not fully recovered after surgery on both ankles) and Devos (exams). In the afternoon, there was a second training.
