Elise Mertens start with a smooth victory in Eastbourne

Elise Mertens (WTA 15) Tuesday retrofitted for the eighth finals of the WTA tournament in British Eastbourne (grass/852.564 dollar).

Belgium’s best tennis player defeated in the second round, the experienced Russian Svetlana Kuznetsova (WTA 57) in two short sets. After just a 47-minute match was the 6-1, 6-1 final score on the scoreboard.
