LE CASTELLET – The entrepreneurial Aseel al-Hamad has the end of the autorijverbod for Saudi Arabian women’s Sunday celebrated in a special way. She switched on the circuit of Le Castellet for the start of the Grand prix of France in a formula 1 racing car and tore a time in the round.
Al-Hamad, also the first female board member of the Saudi motorsportfederatie, had the decision about the Lotus-Renault in which the Finnish driver Kimi Räikkönen in 2012, the GP of Abu Dhabi won.
