NAJAF – The parties of the Iraqi prime minister Haider al-Abadi and spiritual leader Moqtada al-Sadr to go together, an alliance forms. At a press conference said Maliki and Abadi that they have with their alliance across sectarian and ethnic divisions want to go steps.

The political block of the nationalist spiritual Moqtada al-Sadr got in the parliamentary elections in may is surprisingly the most votes. The block of the Abadi ended in that ballot, as a third party. A week and a half ago, it was Sadr al agreement on cooperation with militieleider Hadi al-Amiri reached. His political bloc finished second in the elections.
Sadr presents himself as a nationalist who opposes the influence of both Iran and the US in Iraq. Abadi is at that point more moderate.
It is not known whether Maliki, Abadi and Amiri now with the three of them together in order to form a government. Abadi and Maliki had to know that for other parties in the door to cooperation open.
