UNHCR: 220 migrants drowned in Libya

GENEVA – The past few days are about 220 people drowned off the coast of Libya in an attempt Europe. The refugee organisation of the United Nations, UNHCR, announced Thursday. The organization relies on information from the survivors.

In the statement that only five people have been rescued from a ship that with about one hundred migrants on board had capsized. Elsewhere on the Mediterranean Sea sank a rubber raft with 130 people, of whom there are likely to seventy have died. Rescuers found Wednesday a boat, whose crew said that at least fifty passengers in the waves were gone.
