Victor Campenaerts in Anzegem for the second time in his career to the Belgian champion will be crowned. The 26-year-old hardrijder of Lotto-Soudal is the reigning European champion and follows Yves Lampaert on, after he, in 2016, even though the BK time trial had won. Thomas De Gendt was second at 2.5 seconds, Lampaert was this time third.

The trail in Anzegem was a flat track, in three quick laps of 14.4 miles, with a number of tough strips of false flat.
