Tessa Wullaert completes transfer to Manchester City: “a Role model in women’s football”

As expected, soccer Tessa Wullaert coming season for Manchester City. That was announced by the club and the player yourself today. Wullaert – during the world cup columnist for Sports – leaving the German Wolfsburg.

Wullaert played soccer since 2015 for Wolfsburg, after they were previously in their own country came out to Zulte Waregem, Anderlecht and Standard. With the German club, she has won everything there is to win fell. Recently, she lost the Champions League final.

“This is a great place, where everything football exhale,” says Wullaert proud to CityTV. “It’s great to be here to train and work. I am very excited and look forward to start. There was but one club in England where I wanted to play. I said to my manager: I want to be for City play. So let it come.” Wullaert, will in The Citizens with the number 25 to play. The club is very proud: “She is an important asset,” said Head of Women’s Football Gavin Makel.
