Lisa Marie Presley and Darlene Love will be contributing to a new compilation album of Elvis that on 10 August will be released. The new album Where No One Stands Alone marks the love of Elvis for gospel music, reports Rolling Stone.
The album has fourteen songs. They are a mix of classic vocal performances of Elvis Presley (1935-1977) and new recordings, including backing singers who have in the past with Elvis have occurred and in the studio were.
The title track No One Stands Alone is a renewed duet Lisa Marie Presley sing with her father. “It was a very moving experience to be with my father to sing,” says Lisa Marie in a note. “The text really appealed to me and touched me in my soul. I am convinced that the text in much the same way arrived at my father’s.”
Lisa Marie Presley (50) sings on 11 of August during the albumpresentatie on Graceland. In addition to Elvis’ daughter, and Darlene Love is gospel singer Cissy Houston on the album to hear. It was from 1969, a backing vocalist with Elvis Presley.
