Netflix has plans for a one film comedy about the Eurovision song contest, with the American comedian Will Ferrell in a starring role. That message entertainmentsite Deadline. Ferrell will also be the script of the comedy writing.
The story will revolve around the popular liedjeswedstrijd, which saw the light in 1956 in Switzerland. This year, 43 countries participated in the contest, which was won by Netta from Israel with ‘Toy’.
With the comedy will Netflix the European viewers appeal, which-obviously-has more affinity with the Eurovision song contest than the rest of the world.
