Netflix comes after the success of La casa de papel again with a Spanish series. The new Spanish series made specifically for Netflix is produced is called Hache and is written by Velvet Collection-writer Verónica Fernández.
The series Hache had eight episodes and is based on true stories about Helena, a woman in the midst of the heroin trade in the Barcelona of the sixties. The role of Helena is played by actress Adriana Ugarte, known from The Time Between Sewings and Julieta. Her opponent is Javier Rey, who is this year’s best actor winner at the Malaga Film Festival for his role in Sin Fin.
Netflix offers the Spanish series in 2019 in more than 190 countries. Hache is the fifth Spanish series Netflix. La casa de papel, the English title is Money Heist, it is the most viewed non-English series on Netflix ever. The other Spanish-speaking Netflix series, Cable Girls, Elite o paquita Salas.
