The bronze statue of Cristiano Ronaldo, that exhibited to the airport of Madeira, last week Friday morning discreetly replaced. The image is called controversy, because it totally would not look like Ronaldo.
“The bust has been replaced by a better version,” said Hugo Aveira, the brother of the five-fold winner of the Golden Ball to the Portuguese newspaper Diario de Noticias da Madeira. “A Spanish artist presented the new bust, and we have then decided to change it.”
The first statue was in march 2017 revealed. The name of the airport of Madeira was then changed to Aeroporto Internacional da Madeira Cristiano Ronaldo.
Currently, Ronaldo working on his fourth world cup, in Russia. In the opening match of Portugal took Ronaldo three times touch against Spain (3-3).
