ARNHEM – Seven young men from Veenendaal and sentenced to applicable, work penalties ranging from 40 to 180 hours for the violent abuse of two brothers on Koningsdag 2016 in Arnhem. Also have the convicted young men will have to pay damages.
The two brothers, two boys of 14 and 18 years old from Lunteren, were severely mistreated after the oldest accidentally bump someone down. This was followed by “an explosion of violence,” as the judge two weeks ago described.

’Kicked and beaten’
The brothers were kicked and beaten, including in their face. The oldest brother suffered a fractured nose, the youngest kneusde his thumb and his ribs. Both have since suffered from a post-traumatic-stressstoornis (PTSD).
Some of the seven young men, aged 16 to 24 years of age, have a conditional prison sentence imposed. An eighth defendant was previously acquitted because of lack of evidence. A criminal case against a ninth defendant is the beginning of december treated.
’Very long time’
