The makers of the film Redbad are not happy with the Ratings-testing for the film. They want young people who are younger than 16 years of going to the cinema for the epic.

“The question is whether these rules are outdated and need to be adjusted. Parents know best what their children can and can’t handle”, is a statement of producer Klaas de Jong and distributor Splendid Film.
For that reason, they want that the leeftijdskeuring is adjusted. Young people up to 16 years would be the film under the guidance of an adult can see, as advocating The Young and Splendid. “The same regime that is now also for the 12 year inspection applies, children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult to the movie.”
Redbad is next week Saturday will premiere in Leeuwarden.
