Beau van Erven Dorens has set itself a new challenge. In order to raise money for the heart foundation, he goes on August 18, 130 kilometers, kitesurfing from Hoek van Holland to Den Helder.

Also, among others, ex-speed skaters Mark Tuitert and Rintje Ritsma and windsurfers Stephan van den Berg and Lilian de Geus will participate.

“I am pleased that we with this surfspektakel a contribution to the heart foundation,” says Van Erven Dorens. “I have several patients in my family and know with what uncertainty they have to live. What the surfing is concerned: I am a beginner and still learning, but the bigger the challenge, the better I ‘m to take.”

The presenator was previously sporting challenges. He ran in 2017 the New York marathon, he climbed the Aconcagua in Argentina.
