Singer Andrea Bocelli in October for the first time in fourteen years, a new album with new songs. The plate, Si, on 26 October, the first single, If Only Friday was released. The singer made the news known via a Youtube video.
If Only has been recorded in three languages, and is written by Francesco Sartori and the late Lucio Quarantotto. This duo also signed for one of Bocelli’s biggest hits, Con Te Partirò (Time To Say Goodbye), that is more than 20 years ago was released.
The album is produced by Bob Ezrin and recorded in Bocelli’s home in Italy. “I wanted to go back to my memories of the fact that I was a young man at a piano bar played,” says Bocelli. “Since then I have of course a lot of albums made, many sung covers a lot of other things running. But at a certain moment I said to myself: ‘maybe it’s time to do my best to make new numbers available’. If I were, as it were, re-start in my career.”
