The Rounds of Dubai and Abu Dhabi are melting together to the Tour of the United Arab Emirates. That is the most important change on the calendar for the world tour, the International Cycling union (UCI) Thursday announced. The Tour of Abu Dhabi made since 2017 is already part of the WorldTour, which Dubai had the label outside of category.

The first edition of the Tour of the United Arab Emirates, six stages long, will start on 25 February and ends on 2 march. That is the day with the Omloop het Nieuwsblad the Belgian cycling Season on the hallway shot. The E3 Harelbeke (march 29), Ghent-Wevelgem (march 31), Dwars door Vlaanderen (3 april), the Tour of Flanders (april 7), the Flèche wallonne (april 24), Liège-Bastogne-Liège (april 28) and the BinckBank Tour (12-18 August) are the other Belgian races on the Worldtour calendar.
