After the success of Planet Earth II – Live In Concert in the Antwerp Lotto Arena comes BLUE PLANET II – Live In Concert, the liveadaptatie of the award-winning BBC-natuurdocumentairereeks, in the spring of 2019 to the Brussels Palais 12 on march 10.
The ball went 20 years ago to the roles, when a team natuurdocumentairemakers of the BBC Natural History Unit to film began about the oceans of the world. Their large-scale approach defied all imagination. The unique shots, which led to the award-winning series The Blue Planet in 2001 for the first time, was broadcast and a new reference was in diepzeedocumentaires.
The teams of Blue Planet II gathered four years of footage during not less than 125 expeditions in 39 countries, on all continents and in every ocean. They brought no less than 6,000 hours underwater, of which 1,000 hours in submarines. Some expeditions requirements, as much effort that they logistically can be compared with a space. The unique images are accompanied by soundtracks written by Bleeding Fingers Music.
