The Australian actress Cate Blanchett goes for the first time to play a role in a play at the National Theatre in London. This reports the BBC.
The Ocean’s 8-actress has a role to tackle in the show, When We Have Sufficiently Tortured Each Other: Twelve Variations on Samuel Richardson’s Pamela. The play is starting in January in the London theatre to see.
In addition to Cate Blanchett also has Stephen Dillane a role in the piece. Ticket sales will begin in the autumn. The initial Blanchett this year on stage in London in a new stage adaptation of the classic All About Eve, but she withdrew because of a crowded calendar.
