In order to make progress and speelminuten to collect, he was in 2014-15 on loan to RFC Seraing. The keeper made a good impression and the club finished in an impressive fourth place in the Proximus League (D1B). At age 19, Thomas returned to Metz in Ligue 2, where he was designated as number 1. Are opleidingsclub forced the promotion to first class, the two years it played our new goalkeeper but less than 40 matches in Ligue 1.”
