Liverpool icon Kenny Dalglish was knighted by the British queen.
The 67-soccer player and trainer, was honoured for his achievements for football and its social involvement. Dalglish put himself in the survivors of the Hillsborough disaster in which 96 people were killed.
In his active career, picked up Dalglish with Liverpool including three times in the european Cup and he was five times champion. As a trainer of the Reds, he won the Premier League three times and he picked up the FA Cup two times.
With 102 interlandwedstrijden behind his name is Dalglish also another Scottish record-holder.
