Sandra Bullock is hoping that her latest film, Ocean’s 8 better reviews then get Ghostbusters, the latest blockbuster with women.
Actress Sandra Bullock has the blessing received of George Clooney for the sequel Ocean’s 8. In this film, plays Bullock the sister of Danny Ocean, a role that Clooney three times played.
“The nice thing about George is that he just is happy when everything works,” says Bullock. “He wanted the same connections, the same memories that made them were, for us, I think.
Bullock is to be found in Ocean’s 8, along with Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Sarah Paulson, Mindy Kaling, Rihanna, Helena Bonham Carter and Awkwafina. She hopes that critics are kinder to the new release than for the last big female blockbuster Ghostbusters, with actresses Kate McKinnon, Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones and Melissa McCarthy.
“That was unfair on a level where I’m not even crazy may be to talk about,” said Bullock at Ocean’s 8 New York City premiere earlier this week. “They were literally a firing squad…”.
