Eline Berings and Philip Milanov are both sixth at the Diamond League athletics meeting in Oslo, the fifth round of the season. Especially for Berings were the Norwegian Bislett Games a success, because they ran 12.89 the second time of her career and came to within two hundredths of her personal best from 2014.
Berings ran from the outdoor track in a regular race, and could in the track of the world remain. With her 12.89 strengthens her sixth place at the European jaarranglijst. The profit was for the Jamaican Danielle Williams in 12.60.
Milanov began moderately in Oslo, but came at his third attempt, however, to 64m40. His best throw of the season on 64m91, the Belgian record on 67m26. The profit was the Lithuanian Andrius Gudzius with 69m04.
Best wereldjaarprestaties were not in Oslo, but two meetingrecords: the New Zealander Tomas Walsh won the shot put with 22m29, the Qatarees Abderrahman Samba the 400 meter hurdles in 47.60. In the 200 meters, ran to the Turkish world champion Ramil Guliyev to 19.90. In the 100 metres in the women was the profit for the Ivorian Murielle Ahouré in 10.91, Dina Asher-Smith demolished with 10.92 the British record.
In the 3,000 meter steeplechase, the women ran the wrong. The officials had one of the bars on the mannenhoogte set, and only intervened after three rounds in. Various athletes stumbled on the high bar, the Kenyan Hyvin Kiyeng could still win in 9:09.63.
