Yannick Ferrera is the new trainer of Waasland-Beveren. That has our editorial team from good source or heard from again. The ex-trainer of Charleroi, STVV, KV Mechelen and Standard is tomorrow proposed. He replaced the sacked Sven Vermant.
Waasland-Beveren was already searching a while for follow-up for Sven Vermant. Previously passed Marc Grosjean, Jonas De Roeck and Wim De Decker is already in review. The Roeck chose, however, to the U21 Anderlecht to exercise. Final came Waasland-Beveren from at still a young, Belgian trainer: Yannick Ferrera. That was all since his dismissal from KV Mechelen in October 2017 without a club.
For Ferrera, it is already the fifth first division which he will lead as head coach. The cousin of Emilio and Manu Ferrera had in the past Charleroi, STVV, Standard and KV Mechelen in his care.
