Tom Dumoulin passes after the Giro, the Tour de France this year. That made Team Sunweb today officially known.

The Dutch ex-winner of the Giro is in the provisional squad for the Tour. Also our fellow countryman, Edward Theuns has a chance to participate in the Tour of France, just like Michael Matthews, the winner of the green jersey last season.

The other names are: Sören Kragh Andersen, Nikias Arndt, Phil Bauhaus, Roy Curvers, Laurens ten Dam, Simon Geschke, Chad Haga, Wilco Keldermann and Mike Theunissen.

For Dumoulin is his fifth Tour. He drove La Grande Boucle earlier in 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016. Two weeks ago, the Dutchman is still second in the Tour of Italy, he had only the Brit Chris Froome for themselves. Also in the Tour he can Froome encounter, in addition to other favorites like Nairo Quintana and Romain Bardet.

No pressure
