BMC throws Porte and Van Avermaet in the battle at Tour of Switzerland: “Some of the tours are to him”

Richie Porte makes his debut Saturday for BMC in the Tour of Switzerland (WorldTour). The Australian test the legs for the Tour. He is in the nine-day stage race is excellent surrounded with Greg Van Avermaet, Tejay van Garderen and Simon Gerrans.

Richie is motivated and has trained well since the Tour de Romandie (where he is at the end of april third was red).”

“Greg Van Avermaet rode well in the Hammer Series, and a few trips to him. We have several trump cards in the nine days, a nice result to get,” says Baldato, who Saturday during the first competitiedag immediately hopes to score in the team time trial.
