Elise Mertens after defeat at Roland Garros: “the Level was too high”

“It was a nice experience, but I had my day. The level was now too high for me,” said Elise Mertens (WTA 16), after first Monday in the eighth finals of Roland-Garros with a 6-2 and 6-1 and was eliminated by the Romanian Simona Halep (WTA-1).
