HAMBURG – A power outage has the airport shut down of the German city of Hamburg. Aircraft may for security reasons not more takeoff or landing.
The failure causes great inconvenience on the fifth airport of Germany, that every year more than 17 million passengers used. The airport processed on Sundays, an average of 200 flights.
A spokeswoman for the airport said that the failure probably is caused by a short circuit. It is still unclear when the problems are fixed.
