Leo Beenhakker has an offer from Sparta Rotterdam declined to accede to the board, reported the club Thursday.
The 75-year-old Beenhakker was the previous season, technical advisor at the club in the play-offs from the Premier league were relegated. Sparta asked him to him in vain for the position of board member of technical affairs.
“At the board meeting of last Tuesday, has Beenhakker stated that he is the club cares, and this is also sure in the future will continue to do so, but that he is not available as a board member”, leave Sparta on the club know.

Beenhakker was previously employed as a member of the supervisory Board at Sparta, where he was the portfolio technical issues. The former Dutch national team coach served in that function at the end of 2013 to mid-2015.
