ROLAND GARROS. Wickmayer knocked out in the first round, Mertens and Van Uytvanck to bake in Paris

Yanina Wickmayer (WTA 105) is there on Tuesday failed to qualify for the second round of Roland Garros, the second grand slam tournament of the season.

The 28-year-old Wickmayer lost in the opening round in two sets of the six-year-old Australian Samantha Stosur (WTA 90): 6-2, 6-4 after 1 hour and 27 minutes. Stosur, in 2010, a finalist on the clay courts in Paris, now leads with a 5-2 in the mutual duels.
