Davy Pröpper came for the first time in his career in a season not score a goal for his club, but keeps a very good feeling about his first year at Brighton & Hove Albion.
Davy Pröpper fights with Fernandinho of champion Manchester City.
The born Arnhemmer raised last year some surprise when he joined PSV at the bank threatened to end up, and for the promoted Brighton & Hove Albion chose. Pröpper missed only three duels in the Premier League. “And that was because I was against a red card and a suspension of three matches to ran,” he says.
In Brighton, he transformed himself from an attacking in a controlling midfielder. “I think I’m still on all positions of the civil society can play,” the ten-fold international. “But it was us to not relegate from the Premier League. Then you don’t play often with a number 10. We did not always have the ball and therefore, I could in this position probably of more value than in an attacking role.”
Just as Brighton & Hove Albion will also be Orange with the current spelersmateriaal to strong opponents have to adjust. That resulted in the friendly against European champion Spain (3-0 win) a very nice first half. “At my new place, I must continuously aanspeelbaar and move the game from left to right and from back to front,” explains Pröpper. “That is going to like me, but I also for the first time in a whole league for my club not scored. And score is also good.”
On behalf of Orange was Pröpper last season, however, three times is accurate. Against Bulgaria (two), and belarus (a) scored the midfielder for the Dutch national team in the world cup qualification.
