BRUSSELS – Two Belgian * widows of killed IS-fighters in Syria days the Belgian minister of Justice for the court to have their minor children to Belgium. Child Focus, the foundation for missing and sexually exploited children, connect itself with the summons, reports the Flemish tv channel VRT.

The women come from Borgerhout in Antwerp, and were in march, in absentia to five years in prison and a 6000 euro fine because they go to Syria had left. The two traveled five years ago to the conflict zone, in the footsteps of their now fallen men.
With their minor children, they are in a refugee camp in the north of Syria. They want the children to return to Belgium and have a lawyer. They find that the minister Koen Geens remains in default.
Child Focus wants the government to all children with a Belgian mother or father from the conflict zone or deliver to Belgium. There would currently around 145 minors in the area to stay.
