PORTO – Delay is less annoying than Ray Chen (29) in the plane. The 29-year-old violinist did to put a smile on the face of many airline passengers to turn during an emergency landing in Porto.
Flight 663 of the Portuguese airline TAP was en route from Amsterdam to Lisbon when the aircraft for unknown reasons in Porto had to countries. Everyone had for ’an indefinite time’ in the plane.
“I have to admit that playing the violin was the last thing I had in mind, but I know how stressful delayed flights and decided my Strad in there to grab a nice vliegtuigoptreden,” writes Chen on Facebook.
Eventually, the plane three hours later than planned in Lisbon.
“Lucky”, write several fans under the notice of the violinist. The Australian Chen has about 140,000 followers on Facebook. “Why was I not in that plane,” said someone. Another: “I had hoped to get a five-hour delay!”
