MADRID – Spanish rescue services and border guards have this weekend, nearly 600 migrants from a total of 18 boats out of the sea picked up, reported the Spanish news agency Europa Press. The migrants were from countries in North Africa and countries south of the Sahara.
After reconnaissance flights with helicopters and planes to rescue workers Saturday, approximately 290 migrants of the boats with which they crossed the ocean made.
Sunday, another 250 migrants have been saved. Some of the boats in the crossing were used, were in such a bad condition that they shortly after the rescue operation sank.
