On her last album, ‘First love’ takes Dana Winner the people through a quirky and surprising selection of songs, on a musical journey of discovery. With the title song ‘First love, most beautiful love’, a melodic Dutch version of the Creedance Claerwater Revival classic ‘Who’ll Stop The Rain”, and the oorwurm ‘This miracle’, presented Dana already two gems from this album. The singles were eagerly picked up by radio and tv, and also the audience received them with open arms, what appears to be from the Top 10 and many weeks chartnotering of both numbers in the Flemish Ultratop 50.

For her new single ‘When you sing’ took Dana Winner inspiration from the British singer with Indian-Fijian roots Tanita Tikaram. Tikaram released in 1988, her debut single ‘Good Tradition’, and this song got, partly because of the beautiful message, a special place in the heart of Dana. This song could not be lacking on the album ‘First love’, and was in a swinging and catchy Folk twist.
