In 2017 brought the big hollywood Studios’nine fewer movies with homopersonages than in the previous year. That is stated in the annual report of the American homorechtenorganisatie GLAAD.

Of the 109 films that the association took in the count, had 14 a character that is homosexual, bisexual or transgender, a percentage of 13 percent. This year, GLAAD is a request filed to that percentage for 2021 up to 20 percent, and to 50 percent in 2024.
The report commends GLAAD a number of films which homopersonages prevent. Under more Get Out and the Alien Covenant are called, just as a Rough Night, in which the characters of Zoe Kravitz and Ilana Glazer their romance to breathe new life into.
GLAAD counted for the sixth consecutive year the homopersonage in productions of studios Fox, Sony, Universal, Disney, Paramount, Warner and Lionsgate. The organization devised a system whereby the studios in the categories of ’Failing’, ’Moderate’, or ’Not sufficient’, ’Good’ and ’Excellent’. Until now is “Not enough” is the highest score that is achieved.
