BRUSSELS – Facebook ceo Mark Zuckerberg is Tuesday at 18.00 at the European Parliament in Brussels to give explanations about the misuse of personal data of some 2.7 million Facebook users in the EU. The American will be received by president Antonio Tajani.
At about 18.20 hours starts the meeting, Zuckerberg with the leaders of political group of the parliament. They want to know how the British company Cambridge Analytica the profiles of tens of millions of facebook users in the hands could get. Data were without the knowledge of the account holders used for other things, such as the presidential campaign of Donald Trump. The politicians want to, on behalf of the EU-citizens also have the guarantee that such a thing does not happen again.
