Coach Gareth Southgate has Harry Kane been chosen as captain of the English national team at the world CHAMPIONSHIPS in Russia (14 June – 15 July). That is Tuesday, published on the Twitter page of ‘The Three Lions’.
“Harry has extraordinary personal qualities”, said Southgate. “He is a real pro and one of the key things as captain is that you, every day, the tone at the top. It’s great for our team to have a captain to have that over a longer period of time has shown that he is amongst the best in the world.”
The 24-year-old Kane was made in march 2015 his debut for England in a qualifier for the european CHAMPIONSHIPS 2016 in France against Lithuania. Currently, he has 23 caps in which he has twelve goals scored. At Tottenham he found last season in a total of 41 times the way to goal.
England takes on the world cup in the third poulematch against Belgium (28/06). Before take Kane and co Tunisia (18/06) and Panama (24/06).
