No victory for Mathieu van der Poel in the second WB-manche by bike in the German Albstadt. The Dutchman reached out a hand to victory, but had to in the final yield to world champion Nino Schurter and Frenchman Tempier.

And Schurter still had a surplus. In the penultimate round accelerated Swiss and the Frenchman Tempier was able to the Swiss watch to the legs. At the start of the last round had Van der Poel is already almost a minute behind, in the company of French champion Marotte.
