Former president Bill Clinton has a fifth book is finished. For a time no political non-fiction, but a thriller. Along with bestselling author James Patterson he promises in The President is Missing a unique look behind the scenes of the White House.
The story of the presidential thriller is about Jonathan Duncan, who a few days goes missing during a political crisis.
President Duncan must be responsible for a commission in the House of Representatives, and there hang him an impeachment procedure over the head. From the presidential in real life, so, though the rise in Clinton’s thriller no affair with an intern but unauthorized contacts with the leader of a terrorist organisation.
President is Missing, appears on 4 June. Clinton is not the first ex-president to fiction venture. Jimmy Carter wrote in 2003, the historical novel The Hornet’s Nest, about his ancestors during the American war of independence.
