Comic book writer Stan Lee drag his former co-owner of POW! Entertainment for the court. The 95-year-old American is demanding a compensation of 1 billion dollars for the abuse of his name and likeness.
Lee, for Marvel Comics, among other creations of Spider-Man, the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, the Hulk, Daredevil, Dr. Strange and Iron Man conceived, claims that he last year has been scammed by director Shane Duffy and co-founder, Gill Champion from the sale of the company to the Chinese Camsing International.
The Hollywood Reporter now reports that Lee believes that his ex-partners him have misled, making the Chinese company the exclusive rights to his likeness and name.
Lee gives himself to no trouble to have that Camsing the rights in his hands, but has difficulty with the exclusivity. According to him, he has the contract never signed, and there is misuse of his eye disease, which he is blind. Lee claims that his signature has been forged or copied.
Also against his manager Jerardo Olivarez has Lee filed suit for fraud. In addition, claims to be the writer that POW! also, social media has been hacked.
