ZEIST – The season for Steven Bergwijn is over. The attacker of PSV has a knee injury and left Wednesday the training camp Orange.
Bergwijn was by coach Ronald Koeman called for a two-day training camp. After the loss of the winger is the group now consists of seven players: Steven Berghuis, Luuk de Jong, Sergio Padt, Guus Lift, Tonny Vilhena, Wout Weghorst and Jeroen Zoet. They get companionship of Young Orange-players Juninho Bacuna, Justin Bijlow, Kevin Diks, Denzel Dumfries, Teun Koopmeiners and Thomas Ouwejan.
Koeman makes Friday his selection known for the friendly matches against Slovakia (31 may) and Italy (4 June). Jong Oranje will play two friendly matches, against Bolivia (may 25) and Paraguay (29 may). Coach Art Langeler will also let Friday know which players he takes with him.
