BONN – Head of the UN klimaatbureau UNFCCC, Patricia Espinosa, has called for more efforts in the field of climate protection. “In 2017 we have witnessed many extreme weather conditions and disasters”, said the Mexican prior to a new UN climate change conference in Bonn on Monday.

According to her, millions of people suffer, and it indicates that much more needs to be done to the warming of the earth to limit to less than 2 degrees, if possible, even up to 1.5 degrees.
Espinosa called on to participate in the so-called Talanoa dialogue. In Fiji refers to the word Talanoa to a meeting where knowledge is shared and trust is built to make wise decisions. The aim of the dialogue is that especially the industrialized countries, their efforts still further.
