After a few strong years at Ajax seemed to be Davy Klaassen ready for the Premier League.
At Everton, the 25-year-old Dutchman, however, a disappointing year. That was Ronald Koeman. The current national coach took Judy to Everton, but it was in the beginning of this season, dismissed.
“I’ve got it last call and out of curiosity asked about his situation,” said Koeman in conversation with Ziggo. “A month or two ago, he sat a few times on the couch, but now again not. He has a difficult beginning of the season. That struck me also. It was the aggressiveness and the pace where he barely had.”
Klaassen has in Liverpool have a contract until the summer of 2022. It is unclear whether the midfielder will remain at Everton. Klaassen has his place in the selection of Orange for quite a while lost. The 16-fold international played on October 10, against Sweden (2-0 victory) his last match for the Dutch national team.
