BRUSSELS – The summit between the Korean leaders is “a special and hopeful event.” That said, Foreign minister Stef Blok Friday in Brussels in a first reaction on the meeting between North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and the South Korean president, Moon Jae-in.

“It is an important signal in the run-up to the summit between Kim Jong-un and president Trump,” said Block. “But the final test is whether all the commitments also could indeed be translated into concrete steps towards nuclear disarmament.”
Block spoke in Brussels after the meeting of NATO ministers of Foreign Affairs. Korea was not on the agenda, but according to Block, there is in the corridors by the ministers of course have spoken about.
