The unveiling of the scandal involving Harvey Weinstein, the powerful filmbaas that a comprehensive system of sexual harassment had been set up, it will be filmed. Two American production company have secured the rights of the story from Jodi Kantor and Megan Twohey. The two journalistes of the New York Times brought the scandal in the autumn of last year.
According to the magazine Variety is a director or screenwriter for the movie is not yet fixed. The film would mainly revolve around the work of the two journalistes, and not around Weinstein himself. The production is, in principle, in the hands of Plan B Entertainment, actor Brad Pitt founded production company which, inter alia, with “12 Years A Slave” and “Moonlight” all high pitched.
Kantor and Twohey won last week together with Ronan Farrow of the New Yorker and the pulitzer prize for their coverage of Weinstein. The 66-year-old filmbaas lost by the scandal of his status, and his firm went bankrupt. It laid the foundation for the #MeToo and Time’s Up gestures that sexual harassment and misconduct to sue.
