DOUMA – Experts of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) have again done their research in the Syrian town of Douma. They looked for traces of a possible poison gas attack. The samples are transported to the OPCW laboratory in Rijswijk, the netherlands, made the organisation well known.
It was the second visit of the researchers to Douma. They arrived earlier this month in Syria to investigate whether there is actually a poison-gas attack in Douma is carried out, and to see what gas may be used. Western countries are convinced that the regime of Syrian president Bashar al-Assad in the city with chemical weapons, has attacked.
