The founder of Blockchain platform Ethereum is one of the most colorful figures in the crypto Community and has emerged as something of a “poster Boy” of the Blockchain technology. On the weekend Buterin spoke in two Interviews about the crypto scene, and his role in it. He gave some fascinating insights into his life, his Blockchain-project Ethereum and his view of things.
People are social beings, where visualization and personalization helps to identify with a cause, a project or an idea. This is evident in the personality cult of a political party or to the heroization of individual athletes from a team. Also in the crypto-scene, this is no different – people want to people, who embody ideas.
You look at the Bitcoin as a placeholder for the entire crypto-scene, or even for the entire Blockchain, or the the inventor of the first Blockchain is as a potential figurehead of the Community on Hand: Satoshi Nakamoto. However, as various myths have arisen about the true identity of the Bitcoin developer, one must assume that Nakamoto is eliminated also as a figure of identification. One of the heads, the bumps in the given gap, is Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin.
Buterin, with its 24 years, one of the most colorful personalities and the young and emerging crypto-scene is a facial. He considers himself, in addition to his role as chief of Ethereum, also as Ambassador of the Blockchain technology and to promote the positive Image of applications.
Blockchain: Epochal Change
Among other things, he said in an Interview with Vice magazine. He told of his beginnings in the crypto area, then a synonym with the use of Bitcoin. He started in 2011, with the technology behind the crypto-currency and settled in his student job in the Bitcoin pay. Convinced of the idea that a group of people can build with the Blockchain its own independent financial system, he made it finally to the development of an own platform.
The possibilities of the Blockchain describes Buterin as “the epoch-making change in the existing conditions”. Bitcoin make Peer-to-Peer transactions, banks superfluous, Ethereum extends this to digital-binding agreements – through the use of Smart Contracts. Whether he sees himself as a “destroyer of the old world”, given the mass of Jobs, he could make potentially unnecessary, Buterin asked. “I will destroy Jobs and create better”, it returns Buterin dry.
Critical views of ICOs
A deeper insight into the crypto-scene, he was in a second Interview, this Time in the Financial Times. There he went to the part hard with Initial Coin Offerings into the court, many of which bring to the crypto-scene. There are projects that “have never had a soul”. At one point he was even specifically and turned out the Token TRON as an example.
His personal role as a figure of public space, he was aware, even if he had not sought. Rather, he was advised in this role, because his project Ethereum is getting so big. With the celebrity, it was still dealing way hard, especially when you are being harassed at the airport by people who want to speak.
Buterin had already spoken in the past very critical of the wave of ICOs – notwithstanding that the majority of, as well as TRON, to run on its own platform. Also, the attitudes of many investors, mainly the Investment Case of crypto-currencies, however, consider your specific application, purpose, pushes him mad. In December, he tweeted exaggerated slightly, he was going to leave the Community soon, if it was only Lambo-Memes and the possibility of quick money.
If all that we accomplish is lambo memes and immature puns about “sharting”, then I WANT to leave.
Though I still have a lot of hope that the community can steer in the right direction.

Exactly this will not happen, should he himself be most of all clear. To important the dissemination of his Vision seems to him to be and to remain part of the Blockchain Revolution. Therefore, one may expect in the future with Interviews such as those on the weekend.
