Stromae brings Friday for the first time in almost five years, new music from. It comes to a more than nine-minute-long track, titled Défiler.
The song is the soundtrack of Stromae’s first catwalk show Capsule n°5, the fifth collection of the fashion label Mosaert that he together with his wife, Coralie Barbier to set up. The show was on april 6, given in a French department store. The Belgian, the last years almost only with his clothing brand was working on, made the music for it.
Stromae, the artist name of Paul Van Haver, switched after the unprecedented success of his latest album Racine Carrée from the limelight. So far, he said in interviews that he may never make a comeback. Last month he appeared unexpectedly on stage during a performance of the French rapper Orelsan, with whom the song is La pluie made.
Whether this is the harbinger of more new music, it is not yet known.
