Some of the players of the Croatian club Hajduk Split are Monday clashed with disgruntled supporters of the team. It was a football player, the Hungarian Marko Futacs, a kick in the face.
The incident happened a day after the 1-2 defeat of Hajduk against great rival Dinamo Zagreb. When the players along the supporterslokaal walked out of the Torcida, the ultra’s of Hadjuk, came the first time to an argument between some fans and the Italian-Ghanaian striker Said Ahmed Said. That was put to the test because he is bad to perform. Some team mates mingle in the discussion and then got Futacs a kick in the face. It broke his glasses.
Croatian hooligans have a very bad reputation and are very violent to be considered. Almost every day there are incidents with supporters of one of the big three clubs, Dinamo Zagreb, Hajduk Split and Rijeka. They chant regularly fascist slogans.
Hajduk has the aggression against the players strongly condemned and the police asked the perpetrators to detect. A spokesman of the Torcida, Damir Gruic, said the incident “regrettable”.
By the defeat in Split Hajduk, but only a few opportunities on the title. Dinamo has with still five days to go eight points ahead of Hajduk.
